A dedicated drinking-water tap usually means drilling a second hole in the counter and living with two mismatched fixtures side by side — one for washing, one for water you'd actually drink. The Ashgrove skips that compromise. It's a genuine 3-way faucet: hot, cold, and a separate filtered channel, all through one deck-mounted body and one hole, so reverse-osmosis water comes out of the same faucet you already reach for fifty times a day.

The two waterways don't share plumbing. The main lever runs standard hot and cold through the high-arc gooseneck, while a second, independent tap draws exclusively from the filtered line, connecting to a standard RO system through the included 3/8" adapter. That separation matters — it's the difference between a faucet that occasionally tastes faintly mineral because the lines cross, and one built from the start to keep filtered water actually filtered. One thing worth knowing before you order: the RO filtration unit itself isn't included — the Ashgrove is built to connect to a system you already have or install separately, not to replace one.

The 360° swivel spout and braided pull-down hose do the everyday heavy lifting: filling a stockpot at the back of the sink, rinsing produce without repositioning what's underneath it, or reaching into a double basin without leaning across the counter. It's the kind of clearance you stop noticing you have — right up until you're back at a fixed-spout faucet fighting the same six inches of space you used to work around.

Solid brass carries the body and the water; ABS handles the sprayer housing — a pairing chosen because brass holds up to years of daily lever use without the wobble a lighter alloy develops, while ABS keeps the sprayer light enough to pull and aim one-handed. It comes in five finishes — Matte Black, Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold, and Matte Gray — so matching, or deliberately contrasting, your cabinet hardware isn't a trade-off you make to get the 3-way function.

Installation stays a single-hole, deck-mounted job with mounting hardware and braided hot-and-cold supply lines included, so swapping out an existing faucet doesn't turn into a countertop project.
