I was mainly looking for something to get rid of the empty feeling in the room. This ended up doing more than I expected. Everything around it seems to make more sense now.

The Bellerin Pendant Lamp's scalloped shade is hand-woven from Abaca, a natural plant fiber, so the weave's texture stays visible at the edges even as it diffuses the bulb into a soft, directional glow. Wood accents at the canopy and fitting tie the shade back to something warm and unhurried.

Because Abaca is a living material, small variations in knot pattern, texture, and tone — even the occasional small gap in the weave — are part of every piece, not a flaw. No two Bellerin shades are genuinely identical.

Available in three sizes — Small, Medium, and Large — all in Walnut Color & Beige.

A scalloped shade hand-woven from Abaca, no two ever quite identical

Natural plant fiber woven around wood accents, in three sizes — Small, Medium, and Large.

Natural Fiber Variation

Abaca is a living plant material — slight variation in knot pattern, texture, tone, and the occasional small gap in the weave are inherent to the material, not defects.

Indoor, Dry Locations Only

For indoor use in dry locations only.

The Essentials

What makes it, in a few parts.

Hand-Woven Abaca Shade

Natural plant fiber woven by hand, with texture visible at the scalloped edges.

Wood Accents

Wood at the canopy and fitting ties the shade to one warm material family.

Three Sizes

Small, Medium, and Large scale the same design to fit your space.

Bring Your Own Bulb

Bellerin uses a standard E26 or E27 socket rated up to 40W incandescent or LED equivalent — choose the bulb that matches your preferred brightness and color temperature.

The Material

Woven, Not Manufactured

Abaca is a plant fiber traditionally used in fine weaving — strong, flexible, and warmer in hand than any synthetic shade. Every knot and gap in the weave is part of the material's living character, which is why no two Bellerin shades are ever quite identical.

A Weave You Can See

The scalloped Abaca shade keeps its woven texture visible at the edges, even as it softens the bulb into a directional glow.
