Botanist Upscale Cloche Pendant

Botanist Upscale Cloche Pendant by Casa Norex is carved from a monumental block of K9 crystal, an exploration of scale and materiality that turns raw glass into a still-life object. Each shade is cast in a custom mold, cooled slowly over as many as 25 days to prevent hairline fractures, then lathe-turned and hand polished over several more days. The result transmits light with the presence of a scientific instrument reimagined as art.

At Casa Norex, we are drawn to the up-to-25-day cooling process each K9 crystal shade undergoes before it's even touched by a lathe. That patience is what gives the glass its weight and clarity.
