I was mainly looking for something to get rid of the empty feeling in the room. This ended up doing more than I expected. Everything around it seems to make more sense now.

A wide, low dish of iron sits close to the ceiling and holds a frosted glass diffuser that spreads soft, even light across the room. The shape borrows from a pot lid: broad, flat and grounded.

The iron canopy is finished by hand in Gilded Iron or Polished Nickel, so the tone varies subtly from piece to piece. The built-in 24W LED runs on a standard TRIAC wall dimmer, and the light warms as you dim it, much like candlelight.

At 50 cm across it suits rooms of about 10–18 m² (110–195 ft²), such as bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and entryways.
