The Honeycomb Travertine Ceiling Lamp clusters interlocking hexagonal cells — each one framed in solid wood and inset with a panel of genuine yellow travertine — into a flush-mounted array only 7.5 cm deep. From a compact three-cell grouping to a nine-cell spread, the same design scales from a bedside accent to the primary light source over a full-sized dining table.

Each cell hides a GX53 disc bulb behind its travertine panel, so the light never shines directly outward — it filters through the stone's natural pores and veining first, emerging as a soft, amber-gold glow rather than a hard point of light. Because travertine forms over geologic time through mineral deposits, no two panels carry quite the same pattern, and that variation is part of the material rather than a flaw.

Ten configurations — clustered “A” layouts and elongated “B” layouts across 3 to 9 cells — let one design serve a dozen different room shapes, all sharing the same low 7.5 cm ceiling profile and hardwired wall-switch control.

Ten Ways To Configure One Design

A Ceiling Light Built From Real Travertine Cells

Interlocking wood-framed hexagons, each holding a genuine stone panel, arranged into ten different layouts from a 3-cell accent to a 9-cell centerpiece.

Natural Stone Variation

Each travertine panel is a genuine natural stone insert — veining, pore density, and tone vary from panel to panel and from product photos. This is characteristic of the material, not a defect.

Hardwired Installation

This fixture requires a ceiling junction box and professional hardwiring, plus a compatible wall push switch (not included). It is not a plug-in fixture.

The Essentials

What makes it, in a few parts.

Genuine Travertine Cells

Each hexagonal cell holds a real yellow travertine panel that glows amber-gold when lit from behind.

Ten Configurations

Scale from a compact 3-cell accent to a 9-cell centerpiece, in clustered or linear layouts.

Low 7.5cm Profile

Every configuration mounts flush to the ceiling at the same shallow depth, regardless of cell count.

Choosing GX53 Bulbs

This fixture uses GX53 twist-lock disc bulbs, one per cell, sold separately. We recommend a warm 2700-3000K LED disc at 5-7W per cell — this brings out the amber-gold character of the travertine. GX53 is a distinct two-pin twist-lock base; standard E26/E27 or G9 bulbs will not fit.

The Material

Stone That Glows From Within

Yellow travertine forms as mineral-rich water deposits calcium carbonate in shifting layers over geologic time, leaving behind a stone threaded with fine pores and channels. Lit from behind by a GX53 disc, those channels catch and scatter the light, turning what would otherwise be a flat ceiling fixture into something closer to a lantern carved from stone.

From Bedside Accent to Dining Room Centerpiece

Ten Layouts, One Design

A 3-cell cluster reads as a quiet accent above a nightstand; the 9-cell array becomes the primary light source over a full dining table. Both share the same hexagonal cell and 7.5cm depth.

Why It Glows Amber-Gold

Each GX53 disc fires into its travertine panel rather than out into the room directly, so what reaches your eyes is light that's already passed through natural stone — warmer and softer than a bare bulb.

No Two Panels Alike

A Ceiling Fixture With Its Own Fingerprint

Because each travertine panel is cut from natural stone, the veining and tone across your fixture's cells will be genuinely unique — no two Honeycomb installations look quite the same.
