I was mainly looking for something to get rid of the empty feeling in the room. This ended up doing more than I expected. Everything around it seems to make more sense now.

Each Metro Sphere dome is individually hand-blown, cut, and polished — not molded on a production line. That means the slight surface variation and gently uneven edge you might notice from one piece to the next isn't a flaw, it's the signature of genuine artisan glasswork, and no two domes read exactly alike.

The smoked glass encases a warm, substantial glow that reads as vintage without feeling dated, equally at home above a kitchen island, in a loft, or in a home office. Three included hang rods — 11.8" + 15.7" + 19.7", combining to 47.2" — let you set the exact drop for the room.

Hardwired and sloped-ceiling compatible up to 30°, Metro Sphere requires an external wall switch for power control and is rated IP20 for indoor use only.

No Two Domes Are Exactly Alike

Each smoked-glass dome is individually hand-blown, cut, and polished — with three combinable hang rods to set your exact drop height.

Natural Glass Variation

Each dome is individually hand-blown, cut, and polished. Slight surface variation and gently uneven edges are a normal result of the process, not a defect.

The Essentials

What makes it, in a few parts.

Hand-Blown Glass Dome

Individually hand-blown, cut, and polished, so natural surface variation is a mark of craftsmanship, not a flaw.

Three-Rod Adjustable Drop

Combinable hang rods — 11.8" + 15.7" + 19.7" — set the exact height for your ceiling.

Sloped-Ceiling Ready

Compatible with ceilings sloped up to 30°, no adapter required.

The Material

Hand-Blown, Never Identical

Every Metro Sphere dome passes through a glassblower's hands before it reaches yours — shaped, cut, and polished individually rather than cast from a mold. That process leaves each piece with its own subtle character: small variations in thickness, a gently uneven edge, tiny differences in how the smoke tint settles. These aren't manufacturing defects; they're the same qualities that separate hand-blown glass from mass-produced glass, and they mean the fixture over your table is genuinely one of a kind.
