I put these around the base of a few trees and the shadows they create are probably my favorite part. It gives the yard a completely different look after sunset.

The Portable Outdoor Solar Lantern doesn't ask you to remember anything. An automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor switches it on as the light fades and off again at sunrise, and because it charges entirely through its own solar panel, there's no cord to find and no switch to flip.

Once charged, it's genuinely cordless — light enough to carry from a patio table to a garden path to a tent, running up to 12 hours on a single charge. A PC-and-wood body is rated IP65, so it shrugs off rain and handles both covered outdoor spots and fully exposed ones.

Available in three sizes, each scaled for a different use — from a compact tabletop glow to a larger lantern that can anchor a seating area.
