I was mainly looking for something to get rid of the empty feeling in the room. This ended up doing more than I expected. Everything around it seems to make more sense now.

The Raphia Pendant Lamp brings actual texture to a ceiling. Its shade spirals outward in layers of fabric from a central wood finial, each layer sitting just slightly differently so it casts micro-shadows and reads as three-dimensional even before it's switched on.

Lit, the layered fabric distributes the bulb evenly through its depth — warm and soft, with no hot center or visible source. The wood finial at the top grounds the whole composition in something unhurried and natural.

Available in a 3-Head or 5-Head configuration, in Cream White or Green & White.

A layered spiral fabric shade that casts shadows even before it's lit

Hand-layered fabric spirals around a wood finial for a warm, enveloping glow — choose 3 or 5 heads, Cream White or Green & White.

Sloped Ceilings

Compatible with sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees.

The Essentials

What makes it, in a few parts.

Layered Spiral Shade

Fabric layers spiral outward from a wood finial, casting texture even when unlit.

Warm, Even Diffusion

The layered fabric distributes the bulb through its depth for a soft, shadow-free glow.

3 or 5 Heads

Scale the fixture to a small table or a longer dining run, in Cream White or Green & White.

Bring Your Own Bulb

Raphia uses a standard E26 or E27 socket rated up to 40W incandescent or LED equivalent — choose the bulb that matches your preferred brightness and color temperature.

The Material

Texture That Reads in Shadow

The shade's fabric layers are set at slightly different depths, so even unlit, Raphia casts a fine pattern of shadow and texture across the wood finial at its center.
