Taper Black Cone Pendant Light

I was mainly looking for something to get rid of the empty feeling in the room. This ended up doing more than I expected. Everything around it seems to make more sense now.

The room already had plenty of furniture, but something still felt off. We changed the light and that was basically it. Funny how one thing can make the rest of the room feel more finished.

My favorite thing is probably that it works with the rest of our house instead of looking like we tried too hard. It fits in naturally, which was exactly what I wanted.

I usually leave decorating decisions to my wife, but I actually had an opinion about this one. Once it was up, I understood why she liked it. It changed the room more than expected.

We had friends over after getting this installed and two people asked if we had changed something. They couldn’t figure out what it was at first, which I thought was kind of funny.

The old light was one of those things you stop noticing after a while. Replaced it on a whim and now I’m wondering why we waited so long.

I ordered this during one of those late-night home shopping sessions where you add things to the cart and question yourself the next morning. Luckily this one worked out.

I like that it has some presence without taking over the room. We already have enough going on with the furniture and artwork, so I didn’t want another thing competing for attention.
