The Tense Tyvek Pendant Lamp is built from DuPont Tyvek — a synthetic paper that looks delicate but is genuinely tear-resistant — giving each shade a floating, almost weightless presence overhead. The material diffuses a warm, glowing ambiance unlike fabric or glass, closer to a paper lantern than a traditional shade, and it scales from a single disc to a dramatic five-head installation.

All configurations share a black body, white Tyvek shade, and a 59″ adjustable cable. Because the shade may be folded for shipping, it can arrive with slight creases — these are temporary and fade naturally as the material smooths with exposure to light and warmth. It's a hardwired fixture, available in a standard warm-light version or a Triac-dimmable warm-light version, chosen at checkout.
