Bauble Glass Globe Pendant Light

The room already had plenty of furniture, but something still felt off. We changed the light and that was basically it. Funny how one thing can make the rest of the room feel more finished.

My favorite thing is probably that it works with the rest of our house instead of looking like we tried too hard. It fits in naturally, which was exactly what I wanted.

I bought this after seeing something similar at a friend’s house. I wasn’t expecting the room to look that different, but it definitely gave it a little more character.

I usually leave decorating decisions to my wife, but I actually had an opinion about this one. Once it was up, I understood why she liked it. It changed the room more than expected.

We had friends over after getting this installed and two people asked if we had changed something. They couldn’t figure out what it was at first, which I thought was kind of funny.

The old light was one of those things you stop noticing after a while. Replaced it on a whim and now I’m wondering why we waited so long.

My wife picked this out and sent me the link while I was at work. I said “looks good” without really looking. Then it arrived and I realized she had actually made a good choice.

I like that it has some presence without taking over the room. We already have enough going on with the furniture and artwork, so I didn’t want another thing competing for attention.
