Polished brass, shaped as a leaf.

The shade is cast from solid brass in the exact form of a ginkgo leaf — fan-shaped, veined, and cupped to hold light within its palm. Brass conducts warmth differently than glass or acrylic: it deepens with age and rewards a closer look.
