Orbis Pendant Lamp

The Orbis Pendant Lamp by Casa Norex is a handblown glass pendant in which a spherical glass shade is cleanly severed across the top to meet an angular metal fixture — a deliberate cut that transforms what would otherwise be a conventional globe pendant into something more architectural and considered. Available in clear or smoke grey glass, the Orbis shifts from a transparent, luminous sphere to a moody, smoke-filtered presence depending on the variant, making it equally suited to intimate domestic spaces and large restaurant or hotel environments.

At Casa Norex, we are drawn to the Orbis's severed-top geometry — the way the clean horizontal cut at the crown reads as an editorial decision rather than a structural necessity, turning the junction between glass and metal into the most interesting line of the whole fixture.
