Viscontea Pendant Light

The Viscontea Pendant Light by Casa Norex is an irregular, biomorphic pendant built from a hand-shaped metal frame wrapped in a fine PETG web — a construction that replaces the conventional hard shade with a translucent, softly textured veil, so light filters through the web into diffused pools rather than projecting from an open aperture. The organic silhouette draws from mid-century Italian design tradition: a form that reads simultaneously as sculpture and light source, adding depth and shadow to a room without dominating it.

At Casa Norex, we are drawn to the Viscontea's PETG web surface — specifically the way the woven polymer diffuses the bulb's light into a texture of warm, shifting luminescence rather than a flat cone of brightness, which gives the room an atmosphere that a standard shade simply can't produce.
